“Control has turned our business around 100%. Every time I open our legacy system, I think to myself “How did we survive with this system?” Setting the system up does involve a lot of work, but the team at Cyrious has always been fantastic. I was concerned about the time difference and difficulties because of the distance, given Cyrious is in the USA and we’re in Australia. Truth is that we have received better service than we did with any local software provider.
The funny thing is that we all of a sudden have a lot more time on our hands and our staff are getting along with each other so much better than ever before.
We were talking about it the other day and we said the difference with Cyrious is that it takes more time to enter a job (or a quote) than our old system, but the extra 20% of effort to enter information results in 200% improvements when the jobs go through production and into invoicing. So many questions no longer need to be asked in production (What material? How many over prints? Etc) and any staff member can tell at any time how much is outstanding on an order.
And now that we’re up and running, we’re finding its easier to “DO” the right thing than it is to do the wrong thing. By that, I mean, with our old system it was easier to write something down on a note pad, not act on it straight away, and then end up doing nothing about it at all. With Control, we’re now finding its easier to enter the information, there and then, than it is not to.
We also love the fact that the system is LIVE. Any change that gets made instantly reflects across the whole system.”
