Baton Rouge, LA, October 23, 2015 - Cyrious Software is launching CalendarApp for Control at SGIA 2015 in Atlanta next month.  Accessible via mobile and desktop browsers, users will be able to remotely view and add activities (calls, meetings, To-Do’s, etc)  to both personal and shared calendars. Shared calendars are particularly useful for employee teams, equipment, or other purposes.  Activities can be integrated directly with an order, estimate, and customer information in Control.

There are two common scenarios where CalendarApp will be most beneficial. Sales Teams will be able to keep up with meetings, scheduled calls and reminders to follow up on pending estimates while out of the office.  Install and service crews can utilize the app to access all appointment details including location, onsite contact information, as well as notes for the job. Certain activity details such as phone numbers and email addresses appear as links which launch default phone and emails apps with a single click.

Real-time demos of the new app will be available at the SGIA Expo in Booth 5045.

Usage of the CalendarApp is made possible with the latest version of Control, Version 5.7. This new version includes other new features, Smart Parts and Derived Products. In short, Smart Parts will decrease the time it takes to create an estimate by enabling the user to quickly search and add parts during order entry, ideal when several variations are needed to complete the job. Derived products will decrease the time spent creating and maintaining products by easily creating variations (i.e different dimensions, printing method, etc) of already configured products.
