What's Your Sales Strategy?

What's your sales strategy? Do you have a specific written sales strategy? Whether you have 5 people or 500, having a clear, well thought out sales strategy is vital to high performance.

 

Here are some ideas to consider as you review and/or create your sales strategy:

  • What's your company's Mission & Vision?
  • What are your company's values?
  • What do you do best?
  • Which industries and companies do you target?
  • Which should you also target?
  • How do you want to differentiate yourself? Your company? Your products and services?
  • What's the advantage of using you, vs. the competition?
  • How will you beat the competition?
  • How will you use technology to provide better products and services?

 

Write your strategy. Get input from people inside and outside the company that can be valuable sounding boards, and that will give you direct and complete feedback. Revise it, and continue the process.
